RadioOnFire.com - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened at Great Mills High School and that police are on the scene. ABC7's Brad Bell said sources tell him the shooter was a student and is one of the three people taken to local hospitals following a shooting in St. Mary's County, south of Washington D.C.

The shooter died at 10:41 a.m. after being shot. Bell says a school resource officer took action to end the threat. This shooting incident comes just ahead of this Saturday March 24, March For Our Lives that will take to the streets of Washington DC and around the country, to demand that students lives and safety become a priority.
