RadioOnFire.com - Update: According to reports, an illegal U.S. immigrant was responsible for the death of the Colts' Edwin Jackson. Since then, Trump has responded to the news.
Via Twitter, Trump said "So disgraceful that a person illegally in our country killed @Colts linebacker, Edwin Jackson. This is just one of many such preventable tragedies. We must get the Dems to get tough on the Border, and with illegal immigration FAST!"

Family, friends, teammates, and fans awoke to tragic news that Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson had his life cut down short early Sunday morning. The 26-year-old died along with 54-year-old Jeffery Monroe after they were struck by a pickup truck being operated by an intoxicated driver.
The Colts released a statement about the loss of Jackson saying they were “heartbroken” and stressed how important he was to the team saying he “was loved by all in the Colts organization.” The statement goes on to say, "He was well-respected among all with whom he crossed paths, and he will be greatly missed in our locker room and throughout our entire organization."
The cause of Jackson and Monroe’s deaths is still developing, but what has been reported by State police so far is that the Atlanta and Indiana natives were killed while they were standing on Interstate 70 outside their car. Police believe Jackson became ill and contacted a ride-sharing company, which Monroe was a driver for, and during transit, the driver pulled over to assist Jackson when he became sick, and that’s when they were hit and killed.
The driver of the pickup was a 37-year-old man that was operating a vehicle intoxicated and without a license. He attempted to flee the scene after striking them and was quickly apprehended by State police.
We’re sending our condolences to Jackson and Monroe’s family and friends.
