Mike Vick's Bankruptcy Case Closed, Paid Back More Than $17M in Debt
RadioOnFire.com - In 2008 after the now infamous dog-fighting scandal that landed him behind bars, former NFL quarterback Mike Vick filed for bankruptcy when he lost his NFL contract and endorsements. Vick was slapped with a $17.6M bill from his creditors and has now reportedly paid off the debt in full. TMZ Sports reported that Vick has made upwards of $50M during his second stint in the league after being reinstated.
Vick made the final payment in November and the judge overseeing the case officially closed it granting the Virginia Tech legend discharge and final decree.
