Jet Blue Kicks Family from Flight Over Birthday Cake

RadioOnFire.com - Ever since the video of Dr. David Dao being dragged off of a United Airlines flight went viral, it seems like every week there has been a story about how an airline has upset or mistreated a passenger.
This time, it's Jet Blue.
Cameron Burke says his family was kicked off a Jet Blue flight over a cake! ABC 7 reports they were flying from New York City's JFK airport to Las Vegas for his wife's 40th birthday, when flight attendants started arguing with him over whether or not the cake should've been placed in the overhead compartment or under the seat. That's when another flight attendant came and told Burke he was being "non-compliant." Burke says he asked that attendant if she'd been drinking, because he thought she was being irrational about a desert.
Police then got involved and asked the Burkes to leave the plane. Cameron says the incident traumatized his kids.
Jet Blue has a different story. In a statement, they say Burke refused multiple requests from the crew to remove the cake. They also claim he cursed and yelled at the crew.
Burke refutes that, saying he didn't yell or curse at Jet Blue staff. He even adds he was never told why he and his family were booted from the flight. Burke is in talks with lawyers about filing a lawsuit. According to TMZ, they were able to get to Vegas on United Airlines flight. In case you're wondering, the cake did not make it onto that flight.
