Deadly Weekend In Baltimore: Four Killed In 18-Hour Span


RadioOnFire.com - In an 18-hour span, four people were murdered in Baltimore City this past weekend. The first two occurred on Saturday night as police responded to Baltimore and Carey Streets around 10:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Steven Jackson, 18, of the Unit Block of N. Poppleton Street suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Just around the corner on Stockton Street, police located a second victim -- 29-year old Larry Lawson of the 4100 block of E. Lombard Street. Lawson was shot in the abdomen. Police say both victims, who were transported to Shock Trauma, died a short time later. 
On Sunday morning around 10 a.m., officers responded around to the 1600 block of Asquith Street for a shooting. A 35-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of his head. He was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Baltimore's 108th homicide of 2017 was a result of a 9:15 p.m. shooting on Sunday night. Officers found a 23-year-old man in the 2400 block of E. Preston Street. He was shot in the head and died shortly after being transported to Johns Hopkins. The homicide capped off a deadly weekend in the city.
