RadioOnFire.com - Over the weekend, North Korea attempted to launch a missile and failed.
Since then, the Trump administration's national security adviser said Trump will not allow Kim Jong Un and North Korea to have to ability to threaten the United States. General H.R. McMaster said, "While it's unclear and we do not want to telegraph in any way how we'll respond to certain incidents, it's clear that the president is determined not to allow this kind of capacity to threaten the United States."
Trump's tweets may not help this situation though, as he said, "I have great confidence that China will properly deal with North Korea. If they are unable to do so, the U.S., with its allies, will! U.S.A." Trump also tweeted that he did not call China "currency manipulators" after previously stating that they were, saying, "Why would I call China a currency manipulator when they are working with us on the North Korea problem? We will see what happens!" Despite the flip-flop, Trump and McMaster are working with China and other U.S. Allies to create a "range of options" that President Trump can use to respond to North Korea with if they do not halt their nuclear program.
