Mark Cuban Offers Obama 10% Ownership of Mavericks for $300 Million

RadioOnFire.com - Former President Barack Obama is already set to return from his post-presidency vacation tour to a $60 million book deal with Penguin Random House, and by the looks of it there will be a load of other offers coming his way. One such proposal was made by business mogul Mark Cuban, who is inviting Obama to consider joining him as a part of the Dallas Mavericks ownership group it was announced on Wednesday, March 15.
Cuban is reportedly dangling a deal before the 44th President that would give him 10% of the franchise for a bulky $300 million. By most indications, the asking price would be above Obama's net worth, which in 2016 was valued at $12.2 million. His $400,000 a year presidential salary put him slightly above Michelle Obama, whose wealth was estimated at $11.8 million.
For what it's worth, Obama has expressed interest in purchasing ownership of an NBA team before. Back in January former White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest made mention of Obama having pondered the possibility of pursuing stake upon leaving office, stating that it'd be a go "potentially, if the opportunity arose, under the right circumstances."
