RadioOnFire.com - Police shot killed a man who went on a violent rampage inside of a Hollywood fast food restaurant, stabbing 3 people on Tuesday, January 31. Two of the victims remain in critical condition.
Employees at a Sunset Boulevard Jack in the Box contacted authorities to report the outburst at around 2 m. The incident occurred in a busy district, only yards away from the landmark Cinerama Dome theater, CNN's West Coast tower, and the Amoeba Music store among other small stores and eateries. Cellphone footage taken by a witness showed the attacker lingering by the establishment's entrance. The recording also managed to get a shot of police treating victims inside after gaining control of the situation.
According to eyewitness accounts, after exiting the Jack in the Box, the attacker attempted to go into a coffee shop next door but was denied entry by customers forcing the door shut. The suspect was later shot down and pronounced dead at the scene.
