Police Bodycam Catches Shootout Between Chicago PD & Suspect

RadioOnFire.com - With 51 murders and 299 people shot in Chicago just in the month of January, the city continues to earn the gloomy moniker of "Chiraq." Chicago police recently released a bodycam video showing a dramatic shootout between the cops and a suspect who was accused of shooting his girlfriend.
The CPD says that suspect Richard Grimes initially fired at police when they arrived on scene, leading to them returning fire. More than two dozen shots were exchanged before Grimes was killed by police gunfire. Two officers were reportedly injured in the shootout, with one officer being grazed in the head by a bullet.

The late November incident was the fourth police shootout in Chicago within a 10-day period. You can check out the bodycam footage up top.
