Lyft Pledges $1 Million to the ACLU After Trump Immigration Order

RadioOnFire.com - Uber recently dropped the ball in terms of responding to President Trump's immigration executive order. Via Twitter, many users of Uber began to denounce the service, even creating a hashtag, #deleteUber. In the midst of that, rival company Lyft pledged that they would give the ACLU one million dollars over the course of four years. For those who don't know, the ACLU is the organization that was able to submit a petition that persuaded a federal judge to block Trump's executive order temporarily.
According to a statement given by Lyft's co-founders, the money pledged is to defend the constitution. The co-founders also noted that they stand firmly against any type of discriminatory practices against anyone based on their faith, creed, race, identity, ethnicity, or sexuality.
