A&E's KKK Docuseries Has Been Canceled

RadioOnFire.com - A&E has taken a lot of heat over its upcoming KKK docuseries, at first titled, "Generation KKK," and later changed to, "Escaping the KKK: A Documentary Series Exposing Hate in America."  Yesterday, A&E released a statement announcing that the show will be canceled altogether.
According to the statement, the show was canceled after the network learned that some of the show's producers violated ethical guidelines by paying for access to subjects.  "While we stand behind the intent of the series and the seriousness of the content, these payments are a direct violation of A&E's policies and practices for a documentary," the statement reads.  In other words, producers paid members of the KKK in order to gain access for the documentary series.
A&E said that the network will continue to pursue ways to expose hate groups in America.
