Person Of Interest In Baltimore Shooting Taken Into Custody


RadioOnFire.com - Baltimore police have a person of interest in custody relating to a shooting early Sunday morning in the unit block of East Cross Street.
Police say the suspect, a 24-year-old man from Annapolis, shot one adult male in the foot while another suffered from a graze wound. Both victims were transported to area hospitals.
According to police, an altercation broke out involving several people. During the dispute, the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired at the people he was arguing with. However, two unintended victims in the block were shot.
The suspect was taken into custody after witnesses helped identify the man. A handgun was recovered.  
Detectives from the Citywide Shooting Unit are continuing to investigate this incident. Any witnesses are asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
