Man Gets 20 Years in Prison for Shooting at George Zimmerman


RadioOnFire.com - Matthew Apperson was sentenced to 20 years in prison for shooting at George Zimmerman's car in a road rage incident. Monday [October 17], Zimmerman testified that Apperson seemed excited after he shot at his car because he thought he had killed him. During Apperson's testimony, he stated that he was reacting in self-defense after he alleged Zimmerman flashed his gun at him.
Zimmerman gained overall recognition after he was acquitted for second- degree murder for the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
