State's Attorney Mosby Tells Students Justice Still Prevailed In Freddie Gray Cases

Speaking at a Constitution Day event at Baltimore City Community College, Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby told students that the cases related to the death of Freddie Gray, while not generating any convictions, still brought important reforms to Baltimore City.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Mosby spoke to students on Monday and told them that "justice has still prevailed" in the cases because the attention brought about changes like the start of the Police Department's body camera program and the use of cameras inside all police vans.
"What is now guaranteed is that what happened to him will never take place in the city of Baltimore again as a result of those charges," she said.
