  11. His music was garbage. If this is what kids look up to, they need to re-evaluate themselves. God will sort this out. As a DJ, I've had requests for his birdwalk song and Never played it. It was pure garbage.

    2. We need to remember that we do have freedom of speech but as long as it doesn't affect you or someone else. You are a Dj so you know it's very insulting to go there. He wrote lyrics on his life, his experiences, his memories...

    1. You have a strong point if Lil Scoota couldn't do his thing in his hometown; Why would anyone want to bring success to Baltimore?

    2. Very true. But people get mad when a rapper leaves their hood. What good comes from staying? It seems like nothing. Reading this story makes me sad. Especially knowing he was leaving an event that was trying to help the community. Just sad and senseless.

  22. John Carr for me to say something negative would make me, as well as others, be at your level. But I will say this to you
At what point do you take the realization that, you are a man, with a voice and opinion, to say how you feel but respectfully? At what point, do you say.. To yourself, as a Dj, "We have lost more talent"?
You say, you were asked to play his song "Bird Flu" but, you wouldn't play it. I guess it's safe to assume, you'd play Biggie or Pac? If not, than what would you play?
I'm a Dj myself and it's insulting to me, my craft and our (yours and mines) Dj brothers and sisters to hear you say this..
If you get any gigs after your comments.. It will be too soon.
