RadioOnFire.com - The Baltimore City School Board has approved a four-year contract for new schools CEO Sonja Santelises.
Under terms of the agreement, Santelises will be paid $298,000 a year. The contract also limits the number of personal and vacation days that may be cashed-out.
According to the Baltimore Sun that provision was imposed in the contract of former CEO Gregory Thornton after his predecessor Andreas Alonso left the job with more than $100,000 in unused leave.
Santelises will officially be on-the-job on July 1.
