Frederick Douglass High School: Car Strikes and Injures 3 Baltimore Students Near Campus, Police Say


RadioOnFire.com - The accident happened just after 8 a.m. on the 2300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway in west Baltimore.
Baltimore City police said the students, a 14-year-old girl, and boys, ages 15 and 16, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Two victims were taken to Sinai Hospital and a third was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident remained on the scene and was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
City officials released the following statement:
"This morning on their way to school, two ninth-grade and one tenth-grade student from Frederick Douglass High School were hit by a car that entered the median on Gwynns Falls Parkway. All three are being treated at area hospitals."
There is no word on the cause of the accident.
