Former Mayor Sheila Dixon Formally Launches Mayoral Campaign

Former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon has officially confirmed her intention to run for mayor.

At an ice cream social Sunday afternoon, Dixon told those gathered that she will provide training for the unemployed and has heard some good ideas as to how to move the dirt bikes off the streets. 

Dixon, who resigned from office in 2010 as a result of a guilty plea in a theft and perjury charge, believes Baltimore residents have forgiven her.
