Woman Dies In Northeast Baltimore House Fire


A woman was found dead Sunday night after a house fire in northeast Baltimore.
Baltimore City fire officials said crews responded to the fire at about 9:30 p.m. in the 5400 block of Daywalt Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. While the roof of the home collapsed, firefighters had the fire under control within 30 minutes.
The woman, who was in her 40s, was found inside the home, fire officials said.
No one else was injured in the fire, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
