Two People Injured As Gunman Opens Fire At Group


Two people injured when gunman opened fire on a group of bystanders, police said.
Baltimore police were called to a shooting in the 2600 block of Barclay Street at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday.
The officers were directed to an area hospital where they found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right hand. A short time later, detectives were called to another area hospital in reference to the same incident where they found a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the thigh.
Both victims are stable and in good condition and should make a full recovery.
In a preliminary investigation, detectives learned that both victims were in the 300 block of Whitridge Avenue when a man got out of a black car and open fire at a group of bystanders. He then got back into the car and drove off.
Detectives do not have a motive or further information at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation.
