Checkers Employee Caught On Video Throwing Bun On Floor

An employee at a Checkers fast food restaurant in a Baltimore suburb was caught on video wiping a hamburger bun on the floor of the kitchen then making a sandwich with it. 

The video, posted to YouTube, shows a woman in a Checkers uniform tossing a hamburger bun on the kitchen floor, sliding it across the tiles, then placing it on the counter and making a sandwich with it.

Lori Malcolm, a spokeswoman for Checkers, posted a video response, saying the employee was "very apologetic" about the video, and that the sandwich was never served to a customer. Malcolm said that employee no longer works for the franchise.
