4th Of July Schedule Of Events In Baltimore

Star-Spangled Spectacular with the BSO at Oregon Ridge

Red, white and blue — and patriotic fun, too! Join the BSO for our annual holiday celebration featuring Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever, and many more while watching a dazzling display of fireworks. Plus, hear the BSO’s “O, Say Can You Sing?” contest winner perform The Star-Spangled Banner. More Info
Parades and Family-Friendly Events: 
The annual Towson 4th of July Parade begins at Bosley Avenue at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and goes on until 12:30 p.m.
Check out the Catonsville parade and fireworks. The parade starts at 3 p.m. at Frederick Road and Montrose Avenue, proceeds east on Frederick Road to Bloomsbury Avenue, south on Bloomsbury Avenue to the Community Center. There are two fireworks displays at the end of the night, one at 6:30 p.m. and another at 9:15 p.m.
Dress your pet and head down to the Visionary Pets on Parade in Baltimore on July 4th at the American Visionary Art Museum. The free event will have prizes for Best Costume, Most Patriotic, Most Visionary Pet, etc. Water and baggies will be provided, by pets must be leashed or carried. The Slainte On Wheels food truck will be on site. Pet Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. 
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Baltimore Zoo will have it's "Red, White, & Zoo" animal enrichment day. Zookeepers will explain the importance of enrichment activities for each of the zoo's animals, including the penguins and polar bears. Animals get fourth of July treats. 
The Horseshoe Casino will host a "Red, White & Bar-B-Que" with featured items from Guy’s Bar-B-Que Joint. There will be a featured DJ and live entertainment from Kelly Bell Band and Night At The Filmore. Spend your time there from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and then take advantage of the Circular Downtown Shuttle Service to Inner Harbor for Fireworks viewing. Tickets are for sale here and the event will have free self-parking. 
Nighttime Events: 
The National Aquarium's Pier Party begins at 7 p.m. at the Inner Harbor. Take a tour of the galleries before the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The aquarium will also have children's crafts, face painting and music on the Pier 3 tent. Beer and wine will be sold and tickets can be purchased in advance for food -- a BBQ buffet.
See the skyline from a new perspective on Baltimore’s TGIF Cruise. It sails into the Inner Harbor every Friday at 7 p.m.
For dinner, you can head over to The Rusty Scupper’s July 4th Crab Feast in the Inner Harbor. Reservations are required.
