Flooding Possibly Linked To Two Electrocutions

RadioOnFire.com - Police in Montgomery County are investigating the deaths of a 29-year-old woman and her 4-year-old daughter.
On Saturday afternoon, detectives found the pair outside their home in Chevy Chase, in a stairwell leading to the basement of their home.
Investigators found a portable sump pump in the standing water near the victims. Detectives are looking at the possibility that the water was charged and an electrical surge contributed to the victims’ deaths.
Both later died at the hospital.
Much of Central Maryland experienced heavy rain and flooding on Saturday.
A flood warning remained in effect until 8:30 a.m. for Northwestern Carroll County and Northeastern Frederick County.
