Chris Brown's Baby Mama Says Daughter Was Present During Alleged Assault

RadioOnFire.com - The mother of Chris Brown’s daughter claims their child was with him during his standoff with SWAT after he allegedly threatened a woman with a gun this week.
His ex, Nia Guzman told E! Online said Brown put the life of their daughter Royalty in danger. Her lawyer Carl Anthony Moore said that the 2-year-old was at Brown’s Tarzana home the day of the incident. However, Brown's attorney Mark Geragos said that this information is false. “That is categorically untrue. She wasn’t and isn’t here,” he said to E! News.
Brown’s lawyer also said on Twitter that the singer is out on bail and that the incident as reported by alleged victim Baylee Curran is not true. “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes,” tweeted Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos. “Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false.” Curran called police and claimed that the singer pulled a gun on her after she admired a piece of jewelry that a friend brought over. SWAT arrived on the scene and had a brief standoff with Brown. He was then taken into custody. His trial begins on Sept. 20.

Leaked Memo Advised Democratic Candidates to Not Support BLM

RadioOnFire.com - The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has confirmed the validity of a leaked memo, in which it advised party candidates on how to engage Black Lives Matter activists while steering clear from supporting BLM policy recommendations. A hacker group which identifies itself as Guccifer 2.0 claimed responsibility for releasing the documents to the public. The memo in question, which is reported to have been sent by former DCCC staffer Troy Perry in November of 2015, was retrieved off of the server of high ranking Minority House leader Nancy Pelosi.
The "do's and don'ts" guide that make up the contents of the memo is being described as a cheat sheet, which was distributed to committee members with the intention of streamlining talking points deemed appropriate when in a discussion with representatives of Black Lives Matter. "Do not say 'all lives matter' nor mention 'black on black crime.' These are viewed as red herring attacks. This response will garner additional media scrutiny and only anger BLM activists. This is the worst response," Perry wrote, before encouraging Democrats to "listen to their concerns" but "don't offer support for concrete policy positions." Some of the solutions to ending police brutality, as offered by the Black Lives Matter's platform, include collecting data on police shootings and the demilitarization of the police.
A Black Lives Matter representative responded to news of the leak by telling VICE News: "We are disappointed. We deserve to be heard, not handled ... We expect that our elected officials will stop pacifying and take us seriously."

Obama Grants Clemency to Oakland Drug Kingpin Darryl "Lil D" Reed

RadioOnFire.com - Lil D, an Oakland legend, and mentor to many of the Bay Area's biggest rappers is now a free man thanks to President Obama who granted clemency to 111 prisoners this week.
D was serving a 35-year sentence for conspiracy charges and possession of Cocaine for sale. He made a name for himself as the head of one of the biggest "Cocaine Conglomerates" in California. Since being in prison, D whose real name is Darryl Reed turned his life around and wrote a book titled “Weight” where he details his life experiences and emphasizes the great upbringing he had in a two parent home. He also warns kids that as exciting as his life was when he was dealing drugs, it wasn’t worth losing decades of his freedom. D also mentored some big names in rap including MC Hammer who celebrated his friend’s liberty in a tweet earlier today. “The President of the United States has granted “Darryl Lil D Reed” Clemency. Thank You, President Obama & Brittany,” tweeted Hammer. Reed also has mentored rappers like Too Short, E40, Mistah FAB and Yukmouth.
President Obama shortened prison sentences of over 100 inmates. 35 of those people were serving sentences that would have seen them die in prison, according to NPR. The Justice Department hopes to free more prisoners there for drug cases before he leaves office in 2017. “At our current pace, we are confident that we will be able to review and make a recommendation to the president on every single drug petition we currently have,” said Deputy Attorney General Sally Q. Yates. Most of the prisoners released were in jail for non-violent drug offenses that would have received lighter sentences in today’s criminal justice system. The current White House has shortened the sentences of 673 people which is more than the past ten presidents combined.

Military Veterans Show Their Support for Kaepernick w/ #VeteransForKaepernick

RadioOnFire.com - Colin Kaepernick's refusal to stand for the national anthem has ruffled quite a few feathers and raised a national debate.  Though Kaepernick says his action is in protest of the oppression, inequality, and police brutality against black people; critics say that his refusal to stand while “The Star Spangled Banner” plays as disrespectful to military veterans.
Well, many veterans took to Twitter to debunk that theory.  They created the hashtag #VeteransForKaepernick, for the San Francisco 49ers quarterback.  The tweets from people identifying themselves as military veterans include pictures of themselves in uniform, along with messages of support.  Many veterans noted that they also fought to protect the 1st amendment, the right to freedom of speech.  Some African-American veterans say they fought for a country that is not fighting for them, so they also stand with Kaepernick in protest.

Trump Heading To Mexico Ahead Of Immigration Speech

EVERETT, Washington (AP) -- Donald Trump will be taking his first foreign trip as the Republican presidential nominee on Wednesday, making a quick visit to Mexico, a nation he derided as the home of rapists and criminals as he launched his campaign.
The meeting with President Enrique Pena Nieto, who earlier this year compared the billionaire candidate to Hitler, comes hours before Trump is set to deliver a highly-anticipated immigration speech. It's a defining issue for Trump, but one on which he has appeared to waiver.
After saying during his primary campaign he would expel all of the estimated 11 million people living in the country illegally with a "deportation force," Trump has suggested recently he might be open to "softening" his stance as he tries to win over more moderate general election voters.
In meetings recently with Hispanic supporters, Trump had suggested he could be open to allowing some people living in the country illegally to stay. After one such roundtable this month, his new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, said Trump's stance on using a deportation force to expel people was "to be determined."

Chris Brown Accuser is Suspect in Louis Vuitton Purse Theft

RadioOnFire.com - Baylee Curran, the woman who accused Chris Brown of pulling a gun on her, is wanted in New York City for stealing a designer purse from an upscale hotel.
Curran claimed that Brown pulled a gun on her in his home after she admired a piece of jewelry that a friend brought over. The purse snatching incident happened back in 2013 after Baylee got into an argument with a group of girls inside a New York hotel. Before fleeing the scene, Curran snatched a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from one of the girls. She managed to get past security but dropped the purse during their pursuit. The bag had $200 in cash inside along with credit cards and a pricey Michael Kors wallet. After she had returned to LA., the victim filed a restringing order against Baylee. A rep for Curran told TMZ that she didn’t know she was wanted for questioning in New York City.
She made headlines yesterday after calling the cops on Brown who she said threatened her with a deadly weapon. The singer is out on bail and will stand trial on Sept. 20. His lawyer claims the charges are completely false.

Costly Party: Chris Brown's Lawyer Confirms He is Out on $250K Bail

RadioOnFire.com - Chris Brown is out on bail after being arrested yesterday for allegedly threatening a woman with a deadly weapon.
His lawyer says the claims are false and that his client is doing well after posting $250,000 bail. “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes,” tweeted Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos. “Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false.”
Brown’s accuser, Baylee Curran, called the police and claimed that the singer pulled a gun on her after she admired a piece of jewelry that a friend brought over. Eyewitness Christian Bonilla, was at Brown’s home at the time of the incident and took to Facebook to vent his frustration over the situation. “Yes, what Chris Brown did was wrong… Yes, I was involved in a very sketchy situation, I do not feel safe talking to anyone about details…I just want to move past this and go on with my life.” His court date is scheduled for Sept. 20.

Baylee Curran Is The Woman Claiming Chris Brown Pulled A Gun On Her.

RadioOnFire.com - The woman claiming Chris Brown brandished a gun while kicking her out of his Tarzana, California mansion this morning is a 2016 Miss California Regional beauty pageant winner named Baylee Curran.
She gave an interview to TMZ Live a short while ago, explaining her side of the story.
According to Curran, she was partying at the home when she spotted a man selling diamond watches and necklaces.
She says she touched one of the necklaces and was approached by an "African American" man with "dreadlocks" who told her that she was a "w****," not to touch the jewelry and to "go back outside."

At that point Brown allegedly approached, pointed a gun at her and told her to, "Get the f*** out."
As Curran was leaving someone from Brown's team tried to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, but she refused.
She placed a call to the police shortly afterwards.
Curren changed her story slightly in an Instagram video she posted. In it, she said that Brown put the gun to her head.
Ray J was at Brown's home at the time of the incident. He posted an Instagram video saying the entire thing is nonsense.
"I'm real upset about today," Ray said. "I'm not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be."

Jerry Rice Says All Lives Matter & Tells Kaepernick Not to Disrespect The Flag

RadioOnFire.com - Over the weekend, San Francisco 49ers Quarterback, Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand during the singing of the National Anthem at the NFL game sparked a firestorm on social media that left him open to hate and plenty of criticism from the rest of the world. Not to mention, Kaepernick’s peers who had a variety of opinions on how the QB “should have handled the situation,” implying that his peaceful protest was wrong. However, most recently NFL Hall of Famer, Jerry Rice, stepped into the line of fire and was dragged to bits on Twitter after tweeting sentiments such as, “All lives matter” and telling Kaepernick not to be disrespectful towards the flag.
On late Monday night, Rice got more than he bargained for when he tweeted, “All lives matter. So much going on in this world today. Can we all just get along! Colin, I respect your stance but don’t disrespect the Flag.” Apparently, the tweet struck a cord with some Kaepernick’s supporters. Which in turn caused them to respond with a barrage of their criticisms of Rice, suggesting him to be a placater too concerned with straddling the line of political correctness to take a firm stance.
Although Kaepernick has yet to address the opinions of his peers directly, he made his stance very clear last Sunday in a statement to NFL Media:  "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color." He said, "To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."
In addition to Kaepernick receiving backlash for not standing for the flag, Gabby Douglas was accused of similar “disrespect” earlier in the month while competing in the 31st Olympic Games and winning gold for Team USA.
Do you think there are double standards or unspoken rules of conduct that minority players have to abide by versus their majority counterparts?

White Man Shoots & Kill Black Woman After Car Accident

RadioOnFire.com - This past Saturday, a 53-year-old African American woman in Ohio named Deborah Pearl was shot after getting into a horrible car accident with a 29-year-old white man named Matthew Desha. According to reports, Desha ran a red light at an intersection and hit Deborah Pearl's Ford Taurus with his Jeep. Because he ran the red light, his car was hit and flipped over numerous times into the intersection. Pearl got out of the car to take a look at the situation, and so did Desha despite catching the worst end of the accident.

Desha also came out of his car with a 5.56-millimeter assault rifle. Witnesses on the scene said Deborah Pearl raised her hands in the air in an attempt to save herself from being shot by Desha, but the man fired over ten shots. There was no confirmation on how many times Pearl was hit, but she was severely wounded and bleeding to death by the time police made their way to the scene. Matthew Desha was arrested nearby where the accident and shooting took place and was immediately charged with the murder of Deborah Pearl. Desha was previously arrested earlier this year and charged with a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon.

Baltimore County School Board To Revisit Heat Policy

RadioOnFire.com - A change may be coming to a Baltimore County Schools closing policy that has already lead to two days of closures this school year.
According to the Baltimore Sun, the Baltimore County School board is expected on Tuesday to revise the policy that requires the county to shut down the non-air-conditioned schools if the heat index is forecast to reach 90 degrees at any time during the school day.
School board member Marisol Johnson told the Sun that she will propose closing schools only when the heat index is forecast to reach 90 degrees by 11 a.m.
Other options include bringing in generators to cool the schools that don't yet have air conditioning, or raising the heat index limit to 95 or some other figure.
According to the Baltimore Sun, parents say the new policy has been too rigid and want the school board to change it so that students don't fall behind. Even some who agitated for the policy for years now say they want it changed.

Donald Trump Tells Colin Kaepernick to "Get Out" of America

RadioOnFire.com - Donald Trump recently spoke his mind on Colin Kaepernick’s decision not to stand during the national anthem.
The Republican Presidential candidate basically said if the San Francisco 49ers quarterback doesn’t like this country then he should leave. “I think it’s personally not a good thing,” he said. “I think it’s a terrible thing. Maybe he should find a country that works better for him. Let him try. It won’t happen.”
Other NFL players have had mixed to negative feelings about Kaepernick’s bold move. “It’s hard for me, because my brother was a Marine, and he lost a lot of friends over there,” said Minnesota Viking Alex Boone to USA TODAY Sports. “That flag obviously gives (Kaepernick) the right to do whatever he wants. I understand it. At the time same time, you should have some (expletive) respect for people who served, especially people that lost their life to protect our freedom.”

Ice Cube Denies Trump Endorsement: Leave My Name Out Ya Mouth

RadioOnFire.com - Ice Cube is pretty angry with a recent fake ad which shows him endorsing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The rapper took to Twitter to express his frustration over the ad which shows him wearing a Trump shirt with the message, "Rapper-Actor Ice Cube Endorses Trump. 'We need a common sense President.'” He replied to the message with a tweet that said “stealing endorsements is not how you become the president of the United States, homie. Leave my name out ya mouth. I will never endorse a mothaf**ka like Donald Trump EVER!!”
Even though Cube clearly does not support Trump, he doesn’t seem to be much of a fan of Hillary Clinton either. “She might be the president of the United States,” he said during a Bloomberg Politics interview in April. “And if she becomes the president of the United States, we need to know what she’s thinking. How does she think? How is she gonna handle this? How’s she gonna fix this? She helped create it in a way. How are you gonna fix this?”

Report: Hogan To Order Schools To Start After Labor Day

RadioOnFire.com - Gov. Larry Hogan and Comptroller Peter Franchot will be in Ocean City for a news conference Wednesday, where the former is expected to announce an executive order forcing schools to open after Labor Day, The Daily Record reports.
The governor's office confirmed a press conference on school start dates would be held Wednesday afternoon, and that Hogan and Franchot would be joined by local elected officials and business owners.
That's been a longtime crusade for Franchot, who has also been vocal on the lack of air conditioning in a number of Baltimore city and county schools. Last week, he told WBAL he found it "embarrassing" that the county's lack of urgency on school air conditioning forced 37 schools still without it to close on Friday. The same schools were closed again Monday.

Before his inauguration, Hogan signed on to a petition for such a change, much to the consternation of superintendents and teachers unions. Though hearings were held that year, a bill on the matter did not pass the General Assembly. Former Gov. Martin O'Malley had signed the petition as well.
"To be clear, we continue to oppose a state mandate that school districts must start after Labor Day," Maryland State Education Association spokesman Steven Hershkowitz said in an email. "We do not oppose individual districts making the local decision to start after Labor Day if that is what is best for their students."
Franchot has long touted the positive economic impact of delaying the start of schools, particularly for the coastal resort town where Hogan and Franchot are to speak.
Currently, Worcester County schools are the only ones in the state that have their first day set for after Labor Day.

Actor Gene Wilder Dead at 83

RadioOnFire.com - Gene Wilder, who established himself as one of America’s foremost comic actors with his delightfully neurotic performances in three films directed by Mel Brooks; his eccentric star turn in the family classic “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”; and his winning chemistry with Richard Pryor in the box-office smash “Stir Crazy,” died early Monday morning at his home in Stamford, Conn. He was 83.

A nephew, the filmmaker Jordan Walker-Pearlman, confirmed his death in a statement, saying the cause was complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Mr. Wilder’s rule for comedy was simple: Don’t try to make it funny; try to make it real. “I’m an actor, not a clown,” he said more than once.

With his haunted blue eyes and an empathy born of his own history of psychic distress, he aspired to touch audiences much as Charlie Chaplin had. The Chaplin film “City Lights,” he said, had “made the biggest impression on me as an actor; it was funny, then sad, then both at the same time.”

Rest in peace to this legend. He will be missed.

Suspended Baltimore Co. Officer Takes Own Life During Standoff With Harford Co. Deputies

RadioOnFire.com - A Baltimore County police officer took his own life early Monday during a standoff with Harford County sheriff's deputies.
Deputies were called to James Ward's home in the 2000 block of Stratton Court in Bel Air at around 1:34 a.m. Monday. Deputies set up a perimeter, and negotiators from the sheriff's office Special Response Team and Crisis Negotiation Team tried to bring the encounter to a peaceful end, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
After several hours without response, deputies made entry and found Ward on a lower floor dead from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. No deputies fired shots during the incident, and nobody else was injured. Deputies will conduct an investigation.
Ward, 42, was a 19-year veteran officer of the Baltimore County Police Department assigned to the White Marsh precinct, according to Baltimore County police. He was suspended without pay by that department when he was indicted on felony charges in late May.
“I was greatly saddened to hear about one of our officers taking his own life after being involved in a barricade situation for the second time," Chief James Johnson said. "It is fortunate that no one else was hurt.”
The incident led to the closure of nearby roads and delayed start times at nearby Patterson Mill Middle/High School.
Ward was shot and injured by deputies in an April incident, when he allegedly fired multiple shots at deputies taking cover in a tactical vehicle.

Mariah Carey's HIV Positive Sister Busted for Prostitution

RadioOnFire.com - Mariah Carey’s estranged older sister Alison was recently busted for prostitution in Saugerties, New York.
The 55-year-old was caught soliciting sex by an undercover police officer, according to The Daily Freeman. The paper claimed that Alison ran online ads for her services and was working outside of a hotel for about a week. She was confirmed to be HIV positive, and police are urging anyone who has had an encounter with her to seek medical attention. She told authorities she was the sister of the singer when she was arrested. Alison even used some of Carey’s lyrics in her online sex ad. “I’m a pretty lady looking for guys who are looking to have some fun and get into a world of pleasure that other woman just can’t provide to you. A woman with the ability to make the earth move for you and to get you to see stars,” she wrote. “Oh yea with me. ‘ITS SUCH A SWEET. SWEET FANTASY BABY. WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES I COME AND TAKE YOU ON AND ON.”
Her trial starts on August 30. Alison was seen in a clip earlier this year asking Mariah for assistance. “Mariah, I love you. I desperately need your help. Please don’t abandon me like this,” she said.

False Report Of Gunman At Los Angeles Airport Causes Panic

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Reports of a gunman opening fire that turned out to be false caused panicked evacuations at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday night, while flights to and from the airport saw major delays.
A search through terminals brought no evidence of a gunman or shots fired, Los Angeles police spokesman Andy Neiman said. The reports were spurred by loud noises only, and police were still investigating to find the source of them, Neiman said.
Airport officials said that a person wearing a Zorro costume was detained during the incident, but it wasn't yet clear whether the person had any connection to the evacuation.
The incident stirred chaos as hundreds of people rushed from terminals on to sidewalks or the tarmac. And it left a mess with three terminals shut down, roads closed and flights held in the air and on the ground.
All terminals and roads into the airport had been reopened by 11 p.m. PDT, about two hours after the initial reports, officials said. But massive backup faced travelers in their cars and in security lines. Passengers who fled had to be rescreened through security.
When the incident began, scores of people could be seen on social media and on TV news running from the terminal out on to the sidewalks and streets as police with rifles out stormed terminals. Many other evacuees were standing on the airport tarmac, and abandoned bags littered some sidewalks.
"We were on the jetway and someone starts pushing behind us," Jon Landis, a sales representative from Boston who was boarding a flight home, told The Associated Press. "One man was frantic saying there was a shooter."
Police officers, including one with a shotgun, eventually led passengers out of the terminal, through a security gate, and into a parking lot - where several hundred waited for the terminal to reopen. Ninety minutes after the scare, Landis said he was still waiting for word on his flight.
Passenger Scott McDonald said he was getting off a plane in the middle of the incident and was told by the crew to get back on. He said looking out the window he could see many evacuees gathered out on the tarmac, a strange sight even for someone who travels almost constantly.
"I've never seen passengers, just normal people, on the tarmac anywhere in the United States," McDonald told KCAL-TV.
Douglas Lee, who was traveling home to Albuquerque with his wife and son, said the greatest danger was being trampled.
"You can imagine hundreds of adults trying to go through an exit door," he explained. At one point, he said he picked up his young son left their luggage.
Corey Rosenbusch was relaxing inside a terminal club on a layover flight from his home in Washington, D.C., to Sydney, Australia, when the lights went off and the staff told everyone to shelter in place.
"People immediately started looking at social media, where they saw reports that there was an active shooter," Rosenbusch told the AP.
He said several officers, including some with assault rifles, led the group out of the area.
The incident came just days after another false alarm led to a panicked evacuation of Kennedy Airport in New York.
In that incident, police were investigating whether an overly boisterous celebration of the Olympics on Aug. 14 led to noises that were misinterpreted as gunfire, with the ensuing chain reaction turning into a panic as crowds ran to evacuate.
The Los Angeles airport had an actual shooting in November 2013, when a man opened fire in the terminal, killing a security agent and wounding three other people.

Kaepernick: Hair Stylists Require More Training Than Cops

RadioOnFire.com - The 49er's quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been in headlines everywhere for the past couple of days. The football player made a bold statement by not standing when the National Anthem was played during a pre-season game Friday, [August 26].
Since then we've heard Colin explain why he didn't stand."I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder," he responded when confronted with the question as to what was behind his decision. "If they take football away, my endorsements from me, I know that I stood up for what is right," he said. After seeing a 49er's fan burn a Kaepernick jersey while the National Anthem played in the background, it's easy to the statement has gained the disapproval of some, while gaining the support of others.
In a video tweeted out today, Kaepernick stuck by his stance explaining his thoughts on police brutality, and people of color being oppressed to the press. "You can become a cop in six months, and don't have to have the same amount of training as a cosmologist, that's insane..."

Check out the clip above.
